Things That Bother Me #1- Dumb Cubs Fans

What's up yall, Ryan here, my good friends call me Star, and this is the first of many parts of a new segment I like to call "Things That Bother Me." Lately i've been listening to a lot of ESPN 1000 on AM radio. When the hosts aren't busy talking about the 85 Bears or the bulls of the 90s, they find time to throw in a few bits about this years Chicago Cubs. Do they have a shot at the division? What more do they need? Now don't get me wrong, I have been die hard all my life for the lovable losers, but the answers to the two questions above are:

1. No
and
2.Everything.

You see, the cubs have recently made it public that they will be spending millions on the spring training facilities in Arizona, and the biggest beer garden in the world, Wrigley Field. Idiots have been calling in non stop to ESPN radio and complaining about the way the team is spending their money. One guy said, and I quote, "I'm tired of waiting, why not spend what we have and go for it all this year?" Are you serious guy? The cubs finally did something smart when they signed Pena to a ONE year deal, they are said to be working on rebuilding. So to everyone who just can't wait anymore, cheer for someone else. It's been over 100 fucking years, 5 more won't hurt. Get use to it. The only thing we can hope for is that some ungodly wave of 1998 luck hits the north siders this year and everyone (except Soriano) has a career year. Even then they would most likely get swept first round by Atlanta anyway so GO CUBS GO!
