"At the very end, somebody took a dump right where I stood in the dugout every day," Baker said. "That was the low point. The grounds crew guy cleaned it up. He said, 'Oh, I think it's dog crap.' I said, 'No it ain't. That's human crap.' "
Baker said the Cubs "didn't have the personnel" to win in his final two seasons managing the team, citing injuries to Aramis Ramirez in 2005 and Derrek Lee in '06, and says he was unfairly criticized.
"It really hurt my reputation," Baker said. "Ever since then, all of a sudden, 'I don't know how to manage. I don't know how to handle pitchers. I don't like young players.' ... They don't even have a clue about it."
A well timed poop can be one of the best pranks you can pull on someone you don't like, if done properly; however I'm pretty sure that if you get caught shitting on someone else's property, you can get in some pretty big legal trouble, which is what makes it so tricky. If you don't carry it out right and get caught, you might as well just beat the shit out of the person and really get your money's worth, because no one wants to stand in front of a court room for being known as the "uni-pooer" or some shit like that. It's embarrassing. That would get you on a Barstool Sports post with a "Does This Look Like the Face of..." title faster than all hell.
That's what makes a poo job like this one so good. This pile of shit literally slapped Dusty Baker in his tooth-pick chomping face and said "fuck off" in an almost graceful manner. And there's only speculation of who did it. (And if it really was Scott Eyre, I bet that pile of shit smelled fucking AWFUL... the dude just looks like he takes a nasty shit). It didn't damage Baker's personal belongings or anything like that, yet it was placed in a spot where it got undoubtedly got its point across. A+ effort here by whoever the shitter was.
